Ski schools are facilities where skiing lessons on skis or ski-like equipment are given on a profit basis. A ski school may only be established and operated with the authorisation of the competent authority. The ski school licence must be exercised in person by the holder of the licence or, if official approval has been obtained, by a managing director. The staff employed by the ski school must be notified to the competent authority.
